WEEK TWO Discover the corrective elements of makeup, modifying face shapes and dimensions using contouring to sculpt the face. Create the perfect base by studying the best foundation for each skin type. Understand concealing using colour theory.
WEEK THREE Create the most up to date, modern eye techniques by researching eye shapes and their correction. Create a look for any eye shape. Study all elements of eye makeup including eyeliner, mascara and a number of different eye products.
Create the perfect lip. Whether it is a perfect power pout or a fresh floating lip, explore the variations of mixing and matching your lip products for any occasion.
WEEK FOUR Makeup for special features. Understand the differences in features for different skin tones including Asian and darker skin. Utilise previous knowledge gained to analyse facial structure and the most appropriate products and techniques.
WEEK FIVE Put into practice all you have learnt with an opportunity to implement all applications with combination of all intensities. Master the intricacies of applying false eyelashes for all occasions.
WEEK SIX Makeup for bridal and special occasions. Study all aspects of this lucrative industry from how to market yourself to the bridal chain of events.
WEEK SEVEN Makeup for the mature client. Discover the most appropriate products and techniques for faces of all ages. Look at the growing industry of male grooming and the most appropriate product to create a subtle male makeup. Guidelines for the technical and creative aspects of makeup for different photographic mediums including colour, black and white and digital photography.
WEEK EIGHT A tutorial class where you will recap on all the makeup application techniques learnt with additional Napoleon Perdis tricks of the trade.
WEEK NINE Learn how to promote yourself in all areas of the industry including fashion, bridal, film and television. Present your creative journey and have your make-up application skills assessed in this final week.
MODELS You will be required to bring a model from Week 2 through to Week 9.
